You have probably read many articles about breakfast by now that repeat the tired old cliché that breakfast of the most important meal of the day, that you need it to be the biggest meal of the day… Well while we like to always test traditional thought and turn it on its head we do believe nonetheless that breakfast is just as important as any other meal. And that no one meal is a critical eat all end all.

Part of this philosophy is part of the idea that everything ties together. Just as you wouldn’t skip putting motor oil in your car’s engine but use premium gasoline and wax and a full car washing you wouldn’t want to neglect one part of your daily regiment and body maintenance. It’s sort of like doing all your upper body exercises but deciding to skip leg day every day for a month. Pretty soon you’ll have imbalance and be outta whack.

A good breakfast needs to have some protein and things to fill you up counterbalanced with fiber and possibly some healthy flora and fauna type additions.

You could do something simple like a sausage patty and egg along with cereal and milk and piece of fruit.

A lot of us tend to rush out the door and skip breakfast and grab coffee or donuts or whatever is available and then bonk at work.

We challenge you to go to bed a bit early so you can get up, shower, make a full breakfast, actually eat it and then go to work.

Sometimes on the other end when you eat too much you have to use the restroom and let your body do its thing because you don’t wanna be sitting on a lot of food and waiting for your break time antsy. So this requires planning. Eating the right amount and allocating time to use the restroom so you don’t have worry about being caught in obligation at work versus what nature is calling you to do.

Wake up, relax and don’t let the alarm clock rule you. Eat breakfast and decompress before starting the day. You will have a better quality of day guaranteed.
