FOOD SAFETY RULES

COVER THE FOOD AFTER YOU’RE DONE EATING.
HOT FOODS STAY HOT. COLD FOODS STAY COLD.

Every now and then you’ll have a Potluck and you have to make something to impress the coworkers. The name of potluck is basically that you’ll chance of getting a good pot of good food is based on luck. Or you’re be lucky that you don’t wind up sitting on the pot!

Make sure you watch what you eat and use you judgement and be discerning. Some coworkers have bad food handling habits, don’t know how to cook or don’t care about you and you will end up eating cheeses and junk for days and end up eating too much or having a bad interaction. I remember one year I had some kind of cream cheese ball and cookies and chips and deli items that didn’t mesh well. However one year I went above and beyond and brought deli meats in a pan and salad and onions and tomatoes and it was excellent and even a outing back. it was glorious!!! and no one ever topped me since. but people have bad memories and bad cooking habits so people remember, if they can’t ensure sanitation or wear gloves then Don’t pass go and skip their pot luck and bring your own lunch or just pass on the scary items. Grab your small plate of wrapped candies or cookies and hit exit. And sneak out and get yourself some real food down the street. Ha!
