A great idea for art projects for kids is using styrofoam!

Styrofoam is also known as extruded polystyrene foam. It is used as insulation. Styrofoam actually a trademark brand of a product made by Dow. It is soft and also can make a hard crunch sound when cut up. It can be painted over, used as filler and also help prevent structures from breaking up. It is made mostly of air. It may have some environmental and health effects also.

Some common projects involve gardening, crafts such as making masks, and cosplay. It can also be used in making models such as planes.
