Watercolor is often overlooked as a classy form of art and sometimes take a lesser place to it sibling, oil painting. Watercolor uses pigments that are suspended or mixed in water based solutions as opposed to oils. Most commonly it is applied to paper and other textures like wood and fabrics. Watercolors has been around since came times but also since Egyptian periods and of course the Renaissance period in Europe. Often watercolors are also used in cartooning.

Watercolor paint usually is made of a pigment, a binder, additives to help with viscosity and durability and water.
