In a few years windowless planes and vehicles will be the norm with full 360 surround sound and panels and immersive displays and environments. It will be a new entertainment system for people that want to travel and get a complete experience. You will be able to appear as if you are traveling into outerspace or into the ocean or across the galaxy or past mountains. The sky is literally the limit and that means that everything will be limited by only your imagination. You could have a haunted house or an adult entertainment venue or relaxing meditation room while you are on your through your daily commute or you can make it an entertainment pod for entertaining guests. You could have big pods if you are claustrophobic or smaller pods if you’re a fan of Japanese minimalism.

Some people may not like the idea of being able to see themselves in the sky or are afraid of being motion sick but that after getting used to it they will be trained and conditioned to not fear heights or the sensation of motion and we well have a new generation of VR air pilots ready for dealing with these virtual spaces. It is an exciting time and it is truly amazing to be alive.

Like the article says, there may be cameras outside surrounding the entire aircraft and thus providing gorgeous views, the screens will be possibly touch-based controlled allowing entertainment and stewardess services. There may be the ability to upload content to walls but they you have to figure out a way to not have to turn your heard constantly one direction or have privacy or allow your fellow passenger to sleep. So these will be questions to answer in the future. Right now the future is looking up!
