As a writer for this site, one of the habits I have gotten into is scouring the Internet for news worthy articles and report-worthy posts. I typically spend about an hour to two hours a day just gather information and doing some research before I delve into writing or composing my articles. It gets me time to not only relax in the morning and gather my thoughts, but also ruminate on what exactly I want to say and what direction the site should be headed.
I was looking at an article today where I came across someone’s Twitter post and then jumped to an article from there but a particular quote I saw on there I had never heard of. The quote was that before you take off on the path of revenge, dig two graves. It made me wonder what that meant and so I did a search.
I came across this article which did an excellent job in my opinion of explaining the thought process behind the quote: https://www.wanderlustworker.com/before-you-embark-on-a-journey-of-revenge-dig-two-graves/
I went back and checked the Twitter poster and followed them because they had other inspirational and motivational posts and I find it’s a good idea to get the correct mindset to be successful in your life’s endeavors. If you have the wrong mindset then you will have the wrong attitude and defeatist. If you hang out with the wrong type of people too, they can poison your thought processes with negative thought patterns also. So it’s a good idea to try to hang out with people that are a good influence in your life.
I don’t know if you believe in spiritual beliefs, but I think that the statement in the article about “vibrating at the negative frequency” associated with revenge is also true because it brings negative feelings and thoughts to you. One also has free will and choosing a negative outlook on life just because you think someone harmed you is unproductive and eats away at your energy. As the article says “let go of the negative emotions and energy associated” and then “add value” to the world.
